Intrusion-Aid™NGS
Intrusion-Aid NGS is a neat grout stabilizer for high water-to-cement ratio grouting. It creates very fluid, stable grout for high mobility grouting applications. The improved stability allows for very high water-to-cement ratios with zero bleed water. The high water tolerance produces fast marsh funnel flow (low viscosity) and reduces the amount of cement needed to fill a void. In the plastic state, treated grout is expansive, to prevent shrinkage and further inhibit the migration of bleed water. Intrusion-Aid NGS improves resistance to pressure filtration, resulting in lower Kpf, values when tested using the API Filter Press. NGS is typically used with high water-to-cement ratios (0.50 – 1.30) for underground void filling applications.
