Micro-Aid™TCA
Micro-Aid TCA is a stabilizer specifically designed for tremie concrete. When added to a tremie concrete mix, TCA will provide resistance to pressure filtration and reduction in bleed. Micro-Aid TCA is designed to provide a stable mix that meets the pressure filtration (Bauer Filter Press), visual stability index and bleed recommendations of the EFFC/DFI Guide to Tremie Concrete for Deep Foundations. Micro-Aid TCA is typically used in combination with Flo-Aid HR (superplasticizer) and Flo-Aid EWT (Set Controlling Admixture) to provide the ideal mix for all tremie concrete applications, including diaphragm walls and drilled shafts. Micro-Aid TCA meets the requirements of a Type S, specific performance admixture according to ASTM C 494.
