Micro-Aid™TVM
Micro-Aid TVM is a viscosity and thixotropy increasing admixture for use in cementitious grouting applications. Grout treated with TVM is shear thinning for easy pumpability. Once pressure is relieved, viscosity increases, limiting the mobility of the grout. TVM increases stability (prevents bleeding and segregation) and can be used to achieve very low Kpf values. TVM can be used to increase the stability of grout mixes with very high water-to-cement ratios, reducing the amount of cement needed in low-strength void filling applications. Multiple viscosity requirements can be met by adjusting the dosage. Micro-Aid TVM can be used along with Micro-Aid PFR to modify viscosity in curtain grouting applications.
